HUG 2015 Begins: Here’s What You Can Expect


Honeywell Users Group (HUG) is officially underway. This week is the highlight of the year for the Building Solutions business, and we’re excited to provide a forum for customers to convene, network and share best practices that help solve real business challenges.
As a company, Honeywell is working to create the ideal user experience for every technology and service we provide. That same ease-of-use theme is the undercurrent of HUG. We aim to make it easy for customers to collaborate, engage and learn, as well as provide the feedback that influences our offerings. Here are a few ways attendees can make the most of the opportunity:
Learn and Connect
You’ll see the word “connect” throughout the conference this week. That’s because HUG is about enabling connections between people, allowing customers to share ideas and solutions. So be sure to take advantage of the variety of networking opportunities. Take time to meet peers from within your industry and beyond, and talk to our experts and business leaders. You can glean immediate insight and value from these conversations, but also create a pool of resources to tap in the future.
We’re not only working to drive deeper connections between people, but within buildings as well. And examples of this will be on display throughout the week. From the integration capabilities of our flagship building management system, Enterprise Buildings Integrator, to those forming the backbone of the Command and Control Suite, our next generation of smart building technology, connectivity is at the heart of our offerings and helping to solve numerous customer challenges.

Speaking of connections, the Connected Buildings Center (CBC) is another pillar of the HUG experience. You’ll see the latest in facility safety and security to energy efficiency and enterprise integration. The CBC is jam-packed with more than 30 different offerings – all reflecting the latest in connected buildings and our focus on the user experience. We’ll also provide a glimpse at what’s ahead, including our technology roadmap that spans as far as 36 months into the future.

In addition to offering technology demonstrations, the CBC also serves as a living technology laboratory, where customers have a chance to test technologies and provide feedback. If you already use a specific offering and have an idea for how we can improve it, or if you just want to find out about the latest enhancements or discuss use-case possibilities, come see us.
Don’t Roam Alone
With more than 600 attendees, HUG is chock-full of professionals with varying backgrounds, insights and experiences to help fuel interesting conversations and collaboration. The HUG program book includes a full schedule, as well as details on the sessions and industry breakouts so you can plan your days and interactions by topics and specific areas of interest. In addition, consider teaming up with your account rep to help navigate your time here at HUG. He or she will have useful tips and suggestions based on your business needs, and can help ensure you get the most out of your HUG experience.
